reminiscing

I re-activated my Diaryland last night. I don't exactly know why I did it. I think a part of me wants a reminder of my high school days. Anyways, after re-activating it, I started to read my old posts (dating 2001) and as I read, I felt like so much time has passed from that time. I was laughing at some of the things I said, and I was even bafled by some of them. Hopefully, even though I don't write anything in it, I'll be able to keep it alive. And maybe this post can help me remmeber that. :) -Daal-

fanfiction quote # 2

OMG. I was reading this story again after quite a long time and I can't believe that I was already crying by the half of the first chapter. And since I found myself totally falling in love with this story, I'd love to impart to you a part of the story. ---0---0---0---0---0---0--- "I'm crying? I thought I'd fogotten how to cry. But I am. I remember this feeling from so long ago. When I was small, this happened often. And I thought that the last of my tears had dried up forever when I was five. Why can nothing ever be forever? Why couldn't Arnold have left me where I was in the park? Why couldn't he have just let me suffer there, instead of letting me fall to pieces in his room? I try to get the steady stream of salty wet to stop, but to no avail. It only comes faster, more pronouced then before. That's because I know now. All my doubts from before are gone. Throughout our conversation he had held my hand, and it had made me hope. It had made me doubt the...

new couches, rr thefts, and my new story

Thank you Ate Haziel , for the new couch and the bench-like couch that now adorns the DPSM Reading Room. Now, we have three very comfortable seats in the RR. Hopefully, after we (the UPM Biochemistry Society) have raised sufficient funds, we may be able to re-upholster the old couch that we love so much that we can't seem to just throw away. After all, if only the old couch (which we've named the Jerjer Couch ) could talk, I would bet that it would have so many stories to tell us after being in the RR for more than five years (I'm not entirely sure about when the couch was brought to the RR). Though, I'm still scared of the old couch. When we moved it, a giant spider (the third we've found since last year), a cockroach (of which I'm deathly afraid of), and quite a large mouse (which ran by/on Joshua's foot) emerged from the couch. I don't even want to know what else is in that possibly pest-ridden couch. I do hope that we can get it re-upholstered so...

Wicked

"...and if i'm flying solo, at least i'm flying free..." I'm am in love with the soundtrack of Wicked . It is absolutely fabulous and is pure genius! The voices of Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel are beautiful and moving. The songs are also soulful and the lyrics are so amazing. ---0---0---0---0---0--- Here are the lyrics to some of my favorite songs. I'm Not That Girl ELPHABA Hands touch, eyes meet Sudden silence, sudden heat Hearts leap in a giddy whirl He could be that boy But I'm not that girl: Don't dream too far Don't lose sight of who you are Don't remember that rush of joy He could be that boy I'm not that girl Ev'ry so often we long to steal To the land of what-might-have-been But that doesn't soften the ache we feel When reality sets back in Blithe smile, lithe limb She who's winsome, she wins him Gold hair with a gentle curl That's the girl he chose And Heaven knows I'm not that girl: Don't wish, don...
