a new story i'm writing

here's the start of a story i'm writing...^^ it's weird but i like it...^^

Her name meant beauty and she was an embodiment of it. She not only had physical beauty, she held inner beauty as well. And if it wasn't for one minor detail, she would've been perfect. Adara has an extremely low self-esteem. She never thought of herself as beautiful. Even though most people told her that she was, she could just never find it in herself to believe them.

Adara spent most of her time writing. Everytime she would start writing, she seemed lost to the world. It was difficult to catch her attention. She spent more time writing than she did hanging out with her friends. She preferred to stay home and write rather than leave the house. But at times, she would go to the mall or the park just to get inspiration. Because of this, most thought of her as weird. But it never bothered Adara that people thought of her as queer. Actually, she even took it as a compliment. "It's an honor to be unique. I want people to see me," she told her friends once. Her friends were so baffled by her answer and they never asked her about it again.

Everyday, she would ride a train from school which would stop at a station five minutes away from her house. On her way home, she was always alone and had no one to talk to. Adara would start writing furiously in her notebook as soon as she sits down in the train. Every now and then, she would look around and after slightly nodding, she would go back to wroting in her notebook. People would steal glances at her and she knew that they were labelling her as weird. Once in a while, she would catch the stare of a person staring at her and she would quickly avert her eyes and continue writing. Rirually, she did this, and for Adara, nothing would ever change. She didn't know how wrong she was.

well, that's the start of the story...^^ tell me if it's nice or not...^^ i'm looking for constructive criticisms...^^
